CNSLT.us’s Inside Sales position will drive sales for our company. Our clients participate across multiple industries and attempt to attract various demographics. Thus, the individual will be responsible for understanding a wide variety of subjects and capable of speaking towards the potential clients specific needs on a regular basis. In this position the Inside Sales person will enhance their professional skills in networking, marketing research, marketing strategies and communication while gaining critical experience. He or she will also learn hands-on what it’s like to launch a new business, experience that all employers value. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in getting in early and reaping the rewards.

Responsibilities
Specific Inside Sales requirements may include, but are not limited to:

  • Making a high volume of outbound sales calls to a variety of local business owners across multiple cities in the U.S.
  • Develop and manage your own leads and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Educate your clients on the opportunities offered under both the agency and consulting arm of CNSLT.us
  • Make potential clients more successful within their industry by providing them the opportunity to work with the only firm catering to them on an individual basis.

Qualifications
Applicants for the Inside Sales position at CNSLT.us must:

  • 1-5 years of experience in inside sales
  • Exceptional phone and communication skills with the ability to sell at decision-making levels
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Outgoing and personable

Compensation
The Inside Sales position is paid on commission negotiated at hire as well as a competitive signing bonus. In addition, CNSLT.us aims to provide its employees with valuable experience and networking opportunities to ensure their future career success either within the firm or beyond. Finally, CNSLT.us is looking for the Inside Sales position to dedicate between 40-50 hours per week.

Position Summary

We’re a small up and coming agency based on Manhattan that creates great websites for clients. We like to use WordPress as the base CMS, and then add custom functionality on top.

We’re looking for something who likes to create great front-end experiences backed with PHP.

Responsibilities
Specific Web Developer requirements may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop new WordPress themes.
  • Work with creative design team to turn designs into a working reality.
  • Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes.
  • Maintain existing WordPress blog and website.
  • Troubleshoot PHP and WordPress issues.
  • Implement upgrades to the WordPress core and related plugins.

Qualifications
Applicants for the Web Development position at CNSLT.us must:

  • Excellent HTML/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery) skills; particularly HTML5/CSS3.
  • Experience with PHP
  • Experience with WordPress development (themes/plugins)

              Preferred:

  • Git (preferred source control)
  • Configuring Linux/Unix over SSH

Position Summary
Come help us enable small businesses to compete with their larger, faster-paced competitors.

The Marketing Research Intern will provide support services to our strategists. Our clients participate across multiple industries, targeting various demographics. Thus, the intern will be responsible for providing valuable insights, geared towards the client’s specific needs on a project basis. In this position, the Marketing Research Intern will enhance his or her professional skills in networking, marketing research, marketing strategies and communication, while gaining critical experience. He or she will also learn hands-on what it’s like to launch a new business, experience that all employers value. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in going into any career or job where marketing, selling, recruitment, project management and event coordination will be valued expertise.

Responsibilities
Specific Marketing Research Intern requirements may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing quantitative/qualitative analysis of current clients’ online and social media presence
  • Conducting preliminary marketing research on new and potential engagements
  • Assisting with development/administration/analysis of consumer and business surveys
  • Regularly collecting and providing information on traditional media, social media and relevant technology trends.

Qualifications
Applicants for the Marketing Research Internship at CNSLT.us should be/have:

  • A current college student at a school in the Northeast during the 2011-2012 academic school year
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a record of achievement in academics, leadership and/or previous
    employment.
  • Familiar with web-based analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Insight, bit.ly, etc.)
  • An active user of social media tools (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs, Foursquare, etc…)

Compensation
CNSLT.us aims to provide its interns with real-life experience and networking opportunities to provide for his or her future career success. This is an unpaid internship. CNSLT.us is looking for the Marketing Research Intern to dedicate between 20-30 hours per week. The intern must be located in New York City and provide for his or her own housing. We may require that the intern works remotely, depending on qualifications and office space availability.

Just over a year old, we have a small, growing team located in the heart of Midtown in New York City.  Everyone at our company is ambitious, driven, and looking for the next big opportunity.  Our company is high-energy, fast-paced, and provides real experience.  If you work for CNSLT.us, your input will be a major part of the decision-making and strategy formulation process.  You will witness your contributions make an immediate impact.

Position Summary
We need a social media intern to join our team!  Are you addicted to social media?  Are you constantly connected?  Do you check your Facebook and Twitter accounts more frequently than you probably should?  If you would rather be using social media than doing other work, then you are a perfect candidate for this position.  We are looking for a social media savvy individual to help us manage our clients’ online presence.  The position will also require analytical skills in order to determine ways to better engage client audiences.

Responsibilities
Specific Social Media Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Community Management-Manage our clients’ online presence on channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Yelp and connect with their audiences
  • Online Listening and Data Collection-Use our online listening tools to gather information about how online conversation is unfolding.  These tools are cutting-edge, and by the end of the internship they will be an important part of your social media know-how and experience.
  • Data Analysis-We always want to make informed decisions.  Use data the determine how to drive engagement and interaction between the brand and the audience

Qualifications
Applicants for the Social Media Intern position at CNSLT.us must:

  • Social Media Addiction-We want to see that you live and breathe social media.  Active use of many or all of the following is a must: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, Yelp, WordPress, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.
  • Analytical Skill-This position will not be mindless updating of Facebook pages.  We need you to analyze data to make informed decisions about social media strategy for our clients.
  • Maturity-The position comes with a lot of responsibility because you will be the voice of our clients.  Maturity in all communications is a must.
  • Excellent Written Communication-Most of your communications will be written and on behalf of our clients.  Those who do not pay attention to proper spelling and grammar need not apply.

Other Beneficial Skills and Experience
Experience with the following will give you a leg up over other applicants.  Of course, we’re hiring for attitude and will teach for skill, so if you do not have experience with these tools but are eager to learn, then we will still consider your application.
