Georgio’s Pizzeria had recently undergone significant renovations when CNSLT.us was hired to garner community among the already loyal customer base while simultaneously introducing the growing population of Battery Park to its unique menu offering. We examined competitors in the area and identified the market segments to be best served by Georgio’s. We discovered a target that consisted of local professionals, hungry tourists, and local customers 18 to 29 years old. Each of these segments is attracted to online engagement, so we wanted to provide an easy way to encourage advocacy. We worked quickly to establish a social media presence for Georgio’s. We built a suite of digital environments to connect with new and potential customers. We integrated it all for ease of use, for both the owners and for their customers. By educating the owners on how to strategically utilize these new tools, they look forward to their first year of delivering the best customer experience possible. Our focus has always been on applying social media in creative ways to each business. In this case, we offered a solution for Georgio’s to hit the ground running. We tied together a simplified marketing strategy that entails user-generated content, fed by online and offline touch-points for brand communications. We are continuing to work with Georgio’s as we enter 2012.
